    look at me startin the bonus late n all. well, winning isn't everything.

    time for bonus 2. play #winning and fail it. BUT, while you're doing that, get the highest score you can. for reference, pretty sure 32 miss judgments drains the lifebar fully.

    there are indeed stylepoint prizes for each division again. 1st gets 150sp, 2nd nabs 100sp, and 3rd still gets a pretty cool 50sp. but this time, everyone else gets 5sp for giving it a try. in the case of a tie, the prizes are split.

    also, when posting these scores, take a screenshot from recent plays instead of the results screen. this allows us to confirm that you actually failed out.

    ONE HUGE PICTURE LATER okay, this round is called No Holds Barred. but really, this task doesn't reference the movie in any way; what were we going for here?

    regardless, play each of the levels assigned to your difficulty for score. the condition, though, is that you lose 20,000 points for each hold OK that you get in the song. how well can you literally drop those beats?

    NOTE: EACH DIFFICULTY HAS BEEN ASSIGNED DIFFERENT SONGS. PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU'RE PLAYING!

    Division 1 is playing Unusual, Rumble, and An Atlas to Solutions, all on easy as usual.

    Division 2 will play Stay the Night, ULTRAnumb, and Wasted on Arrival on medium.

    Division 3 jams to You and Me, Delawho, and Canon Rock on hard.

    the bonus video challenge for this round is to play one of these songs and sing along (not Canon Rock, though). as usual, it's good for stylepoints at the end of the competition when we add everything up.

    also !!! IMPORTANT !!! next round, you'll need a partner from your division to complete the task. we're open to letting you work this out yourselves - it's your chance to control the outcome of the round by the partner you pick. once you've got a partner, both of you must send a message to GHEZ119 and he will mark the teams down on the spreadsheet. also, anyone without a companion will be assigned to a group via the cruelty of random dot org. MYEHEHEHEH.

    pro pat tips:

    -250ms is the time it takes for a hold to drop, so it wouldn't seem like you could drop any hold briefer than that...
    -but what if you hit it and release it before the note even arrives?

    don't think anyone is going to do well in this round

    you basically have to tap the holds deliberately trying to get goods on only the holds.

    seeing as i'm not playing this tourny to compete, i'll skip this round.

    not playing this round. short holds still count as holds even if you just tap them which makes it ridiculously frustrating trying to find out which holds are 'safe' to tap. i just finished stay the night with 54 misses, and all of them were unsafe to tap, and still had 3 hold oks.
