ACHIEVEMENT IDEA THREAD

as im sure most people will agree, achievement are unreal, and u cant have too many of them cus they are pro as ****.

with that out of the way, start thinking of ideas.

i was also thinking, certain 'song specific' achievements could grant access to a new difficulty on the song in question.

il start it off.

1st idea, shared by many

beat Third style ultimate diss.
to continue on this one, with my idea, i was thinking if you unlock this achievement, you also unlock a "badboy" difficulty on this same song (the file patashu has). also, the diss song shud be made challenge difficulty.


second idea, well not really an idea, just gonna list some possible 'generic' music game achievements down.

100m over all total score
200m over all total score
500m over all total score
1000m (1b) over all total score
10000m (10b) over all total score

Play your first game of thirdstyle
play 100 games
play 500 games
play 1000 games
play 10000 games
play 50000 games (naturally achievements like this (and the 10b) are long term achievemnt that will naturally come over time and hopefully keep people playing)

p.s. not sure if this is what you were refering too in the chat patashu, but these would be the descriptions for the achievements, different creative names would be thought up for them also. :p

AAAAAAAA who texted me?-Get a black flag on the last note of a song with the hard difficulty
Zombified-End up passing a song with more than 95% after you were one miss away form losing
9A-AAA the same song three times in a row.
27A-9A all three difficulties of a song in a row.
I like techno-AAA 10 Techno songs
I like "X"-Continue Techno with other genre's
It doesn't even show on the leaderboard!-AAA 50 songs on beginner
I like it like my women-AAA 50 songs on easy
Same thing as the two above but with medium and hard
I can change it?- Go to the settings
I hate my life- Leave a song
Suicide is the only option- Leave a song X amount of times

Tortuous - Full-combo a song on Hard with scroll speed set to 203 or below.
Hare - Full-combo a song on Hard with scroll speed 1005 or above.
Sensory Master - AAA a song with the timing offset at -30. (I assume there's no way to tell if the volume is off or not? I was thinking that would be a good one but I don't think it's possible).
QWOP - Full-combo a song with the arrow keys assigned to Q, W, O, and P.

That's just a few off the top of my head.

Easy to implement:
1 Million Get: Get 1 million points in one play.
Painful: Pass A Kidney Stone, and I don't mean out of your kidneys.
Narcoleptic: Fail a song with 16 misses and nothing else.
Ragequit: Fail a song with 32 misses.
I Blinked And Missed It: FC Monotone hard.
Blackflag: On any chart, get 1 great and everything else perfect.
What Colour Flag Is This?: On any chart, get 1 good and everything else perfect.
Oops: On any chart, get one boo or miss or dropped hold and everything else perfect.
OMNIFLAG: On any chart, get one great, good, boo, miss AND dropped hold and everything else perfect.
You Might Want Ice For That: Pass Old Skool Luv Hard.
Patience of a Saint: FC Old Skool Luv Medium.
Stutter Master: FC Gateway Medium.
Stutter Emperor: FC Gateway Hard.
Bullet Time: Gaze upon the slowdown in Unforgivable, and see that it is good.
Fast Rock: Pass Under 18 on any difficulty.

Medium to implement:

Easy Novice: Pass the easiest easy chart.
Easy Adept: Pass the hardest easy chart.
Medium Novice: Pass the easiest medium chart.
Medium Adept: Pass the hardest medium chart.
Hard Novice: Pass the easiest hard chart.
Hard Adept: Pass the hardest hard chart.
(before difficulty ratings come in, you can use maximum attainable score instead. achievement only applies to whatever happens to be easiest/hardest in that point in time)

I <3 Long Notes: Pass any song with 200 or more holds and don't drop a single one.
Unprepared: Miss the first note on Dead Serious or Big.
Polar Opposites: Play Unforgivable and Make Your Move in either order.


Hard to implement:

Master of Flams: On 'Good Evening, London' hard, there are a number of 64th flams. Hit all of them in the correct order. (e.g. if you hit them as jumps some of the time you'll hit the second note first)
Girly Color: In any chart with pink (or possibly purple too) notes (or you might want to specify one, like Big or Life's Good), miss every single one of them but get no misses otherwise.
Innumerate: On any difficulty of Ultranumb, miss the notes corresponding to the syllables '3' '2' and '1' being uttered but get no misses otherwise. (For the stutters, it's only necessary to miss the ending.)
BirthWRONG: On any difficulty of Birthright, miss the notes corresponding to the vocal sample 'birthright' but get no misses otherwise.
LOLOL: On LOL hard, make it to where LOLOL is spelled in the chart.
