Keep this in mind: With no FFR there would be no TS. So FFr obviously did something right. And TS's chart quality is still very hit or miss. As probably the biggest hater of FFR charts, I still have to say that the quality of the charts there still hilariously out classes TS chart quality.
Just my two cents.

SimfilerTS was created because there was a running joke on fFFR about a "thirdstyle" (r3)
It was hyped for literally years, and nothing ever came from it. So when FFR shit on itself for a year or so, TS was created.
The only thing this site got from FFR was the name, because the admins didn't give a shit about making the engine better.
So yeah, you could kinda say that with no FFR, they would be no TS. It'd just have a different name l0l

I think my chart(s) in TS and my chart in FFR say otherwise. I think I know a thing or two about the quality difference.
Don't get me wrong, TS's approach to acceptance and how many you get in at a time is very much a plus, and the fact is you can be more stylistic here. The problem is TS is Quantity > Quality right now. I'm not saying it can't change; I'm not saying it's not going to. I'm just being realistic. FFR goes for Quality > Quantity. But with the way TS does charts it's all forced ect. Could elaborate more but I feel as if your down syndrome is probably gonna prevent you from understanding anything.
Okay you know what this is where I'm going to step in. Who the hell ever said quantity > quality here? You're sadly mistaken if you think that's the case. We're just not hardly as strict here as on ffr, kinda like how it was on DF, and people enjoy the charts there. It's more about having fun then worrying about how "perfect" something is. And right now you're insulting AJ and myself since we do the majority of the reviewing currently. I HATE the majority of FFR charts for the record, so you can shove your quality argument.
I'm getting so tired of this drama crap between the two sites. Grow up already, most of the community members are over 18, time to act like it. As per the argument of if FFR didn't exist TS wouldn't, that's a load of shit too. Maybe it wouldn't be TS exactly but there would have been some online simulator of DDR or another. Don't sit here and act like FFR had an original idea either, it was spawned from DDR.

Junior MemberI played FFR ever since I was 9 until now (14)
When I started playing ThirdStyle, which was around a few months ago, I started to grow bored of FFR.
I had around 500 FC's on most of the hardest songs on the game, but it just doesn't feel the same as ThirdStyle. I like the engine better on ThirdStyle better than FFR. I don't like the fact that you can mash your way to a FC on FFR unlike ThirdStyle. It's much harder.
All around, I really do like FFR and I always will. It just doesn't feel the same anymore :3.

Both FFR and TS have their advantages and disadvantages so really, there is nothing you can argue about the two in terms of which game is "better". You either like FFR, TS or both. Simple as that. You guys can argue all you want but in the end, no one wins the war in terms of which game is better. Peace.
