Lindsey Stirling's style of music is not something easily explainable. With the overlaying percussion and prevalent synths, one could almost consider it a type of dance music. In any event, this style of music has struck the internet airwaves with force, and she now performs shows and tours all across the country. However, she is not just an internet sensation -- in fact, her fame stems from her relatively deep finish in the famous reality television show America's Got Talent during the 2010 season. Throughout the show, Lindsey Stirling frequently mentions herself as a hip-hop violinist. This unique style drew noticeable attention and her consistently strong performances eventually got her to the quarterfinals of the show. If you'd like to learn a bit more about Lindsey Stirling, you can find a detailed biography on her official page.
Today, we have released Shadows, one of Lindsey's slower but more expressive songs. Shadows is a moderately paced song featuring many different melodies with slightly deviated repeating melodies, almost as if each portion of the song does see their shadow (structurally). A fantastic musical pun. What can players expect from this? Most players should be able to handle this file with relative ease, although players on the Hard difficulty will have to find their way through a large amount of freeze arrows. Use the melody to find your way through some of the denser freeze patterns.
Shadows is brought to us by active simfile artist/judge Saphira.
