    Skull Girls, anyone?

I will be honest... Im not really playing any arrow games as avidly as i used to because my focus has been on a lot of other things. By that, I mean video games, music and work. Since I was banned from FFR, I decided to take the FGC a little more seriously(Fighting game community). MvC, Tekken, SSFIV, MK9(who would have thunk that mk9 ran the same engine as street fighter 4 lol)... and also this new game that came out a week ago: Skull Girls!

Skull Girls is a fast paced, side scrolling 2-D game with a similar engine as Melty Blood(look it up, you schmuck). What pulled me into playing this was the amount of visual detail that was put into this game. The stage illustrations, the character designs, and some really cool(and pretty funny) color selections for each character. One bad thing is that there are only 8 characters available so far, but it has been announced that there might be dlc characters. Each frame for all the characters' movements were hand drawn for very smooth looking gameplay, making this visually appealing to the not-so-avid fighting gamer. After all, the objective of this game as a whole is to make the casual gamer enjoy fighting games.... casually. I can go on and on about this game, but why dont you guys take a look at this for yourself: www.skullgirls.com

I'm spending most of my time on Xbox than anything else recently. If you feel like getting raep'd, add me: xXACE4EVERXx

    P.S.
If you are a familiar with fighting games today and somehow dont know about this game, I will tell you this now... there is no such thing as a move list or mission mode in-game. You wanna be good, you have to learn everything yourself :P

    P.P.S
this game has nothing but girls in it.

a fight stick is your best friend,

Heh, might have to check this out. I'm pretty into beat 'em ups, but I find a lot of them annoying or draining just because of all the things they can do badly as opposed to the things they do well. Still, every now and again a really nice one comes along so I'll definitely take a look. :3

What makes me a little down about this game is that there are ppl do not like anime-esque games like this one at all. Which is a shame because it appeals way more to the otaku gaming crowd.
