Two cents in here, I support LOLno as a challenge file, but let's not go apeshit and start making a bunch of challenge files just to jumpstart the gun here. Start it steady, one challenge a time, If anything I believe challenge files need to be relatively scarce

    Spoiler!

i actually think they should be scarce also, and the only reason i have submitted two now is because challenge has only really swung into action recently and i have had both of these files for a long time, and i know i wont be making them into 4 chart files. if anything, i believe this one is far more suited to a challenge file than LOLNO, but i also believe LOLNO is a worthey challenge file also, so i dont see a problem submitting them now, they would both be getting submitted anyway, even if i waited inbetween each submission. no point beating around the bush.

a limit on how many Challenge submissions you can send per a certain amount of time is something that needs to be discussed.

How about one in the judging pipe at any given time, then a week or so waiting period after that one's processed before a new challenge submission can come in from a particular user?

That could cause potential conflict from users not being able to get their things on time after the waiting period. I think a cap per time period (hopefully something decently distanced, a file per one month) per user works.

None of this has been confirmed. I know we are excited but there is still a lot to work out. Be patient please.

yeah, we could wait around for a few months/years for things to be confirmed, or we can take action and make it happen.

As much as I agree with all of the sentiments in this thread; would it not be easier to have a file limit per Challenge files? If you're submitting a 5-difficulty file, then hey, that's fine, but if it's Challenge only, you need to have x releases per single-difficulty or something like that?

I think 3 or 4 would be reasonable; there's nothing to stop you making 5-difficulty files and I understand that Jonny has these because he's made a lot of files and played around with different things and found some songs that are more suited for single-difficulty Challenge than for a whole array of charts, not because he's just cranking them out. They've sort of come into being through him stepping so much, rather than instead of him stepping regular files.
