When you click on the comment notification button the window displaying your notifications does not go away until you either refresh the page or go to another one. It's not in any way a major glitch, but regardless I find it rather annoying.

Notifications have been borked for a while...wish they updated in real time again.

Official Back-Up Simfile Judgethe notifications tend to cover the button. maybe there should be a bit of a system to where it goes away when the cursor isnt over the drop down window.
edit: and yeah the private message number after you check your pm's (i dont get them often) doesnt seem to acknowledge that you've checked them until like half an hour later at times.

Hmm the notifications window should only ever drop down below the button. If it is covering the button can you screenshot with browser/OS?
To me the ideal functionality would be for the window to disappear after the notifications have been viewed, but realtime will need to be fixed before that happens.
