KEY:
Please add silence and offset your file off of the first beat. The Beat 0 offset glitch still exists. Refer to this thread for more information.T/S/I/E/F/(A) = Technique/Sync/Interpretation & Expression/Engagement/Flow/(Additional deductions/additions)

Minimum acceptance: 12/15 (or 11 with multiple ratings)
8 Bit Spannung (Maiksterr)
-> offset changed from -0.030 to -0.029
Hard: 2/2/3/2/2/(0) [11/15] (pending)
- 0.982/2.410/3.839/(etc): these notes should be exactly 1/32nd after the previous 16th note (i.e. 32nds placed at 1.011, 2.440, 3.869, etc). This happens all the way up to 40.9 seconds.
- patterns in this chart are very flat and repetitive; not very much relevance to separate the melody and the percussion. It's also pretty much the same structure for the first half of the file.
- while the chart itself is lacking, it's accurate. The layering is consistently correct, albeit weakly structured.
I don't have much to say about the file; the issues within the file lie in large sections, rather than small minor errors. I don't have a say on this difficulty, because I can see other judges accepting this file and I can see others not passing it. I'll leave this rating as pending and wait for a bit more of discussion on this. I'm leaning more towards a light reject on this file.
Medium: 2/3/2/3/3/(-1) [12/15]
- 5.744 to 11.458: lack of a right arrow? With relative pitch relevancy, you could create a new pattern for this section that includes all of the arrows, but is different from the first one.
- 14.315 to 27.886: very close to the hard chart, jumps are in the same place as the Hard chart, but the single taps separating the jumps are the only things missing. This is a near carbon copy of the hard chart.
This Medium chart isn't bad at all. It's very clear as to what's being followed in the chart. It could be polished a bit more to be more visually clear, but as is, this file is definitely acceptable. A nice start would be to fix the section at 14.315 to 27.886.
Easy: 2/3/2/3/2/(-2) [10/15]
- 14.315 to 19.672: Mix up the patterns a bit here - not only is U/R really boring, it's also somewhat difficult with 16th notes being only on the right hand.
- 28.601 to 52.172: VERY long section of the chart that is a carbon copy of the previous difficulty. Short freezes at an 8th note interval without any jumps (medium, in this case) is arguably easier because it will yield to a higher scoring percentage with all of the completed hold judgments. Tone this down.
Half of this chart is nearly identical in comparison to the Medium chart because it utilizes 8th notes in the same area. To top it off, the Medium difficulty uses freezes that are very short and unconnected.
Beginner: 2/3/3/3/3/(0) [14/15]
First note: 0.029; last note: 53.601; total length: 53.572; notes: 44; NPS: 0.82
- patterns are a bit jumbled for a beginner chart, but the incredibly low NPS more than makes up for it.
File is fine. Typical low pace, easy beginner chart.
(This isn't a review I'd just like to point out that Maiksterr is an alt of DJzAIKz)
I was aware of that by the signature. Is there a reason as to why he's posting on this account and not on his normal account? The only thing that I can image is him being under 13 (which would violate any sort of COPPA regulation on this site).
Hard: I actually kinda like this file, a bit on the short side, but only noticed some minor errors.
Light Accept
Standard: Pretty standard, could use a little variation.
Light Accept
Easy: Again this chart could use some variation. Also even though the bpm is low the little mini right handed trills seem like they'd be pretty hard for a newer player.
Conditional - At least change the right handed mini trills
Beginner: Not too much to say, works for a beginner chart.
