Dark Chronicle, known better in North America as Dark Cloud 2, continued with the same ideas of rebuilding the land and traveling through time seen in the original Dark Cloud, but ditched the old protagonist, Toan, for two new ones, Max and Monica. The series distinguishes itself by featuring weapon enhancement rather than character leveling. The game itself is pretty hack-and-slash in a similar fashion to the gameplay of Kingdom Hearts.

DJ-Tr4nc3r of Finland liked the game so much that, after having bought it and barely played any of it, he made a remix of the normal battle music, called fittingly Dark Cloud 2 Battle RMX. It's electronica, it's stepped by ichliebekase, and you should go play it immediately.
