I have an idea for stopping spam on here

it's a simple solution: stop registering here.

FOR GOOD. IF all new people here are just spam-noobs, i don't see why we should open our doors to them! Delete ALL noobs, delete ALL spam, and make sure the only way an account is made is to send an email to the admin of TS, which goes through harsh goals! they must read a long page of agreements and they must read it all BY FORCE. EVERY. SINGLE. LETTER.

and to stop already-removed spammers from returning, BAN THEIR IP ADRESS PERMANENTLY!!!

Iv'e seen forums get taken down by spammers and spam and we're not going to make the same mistakes!

captcha's are fun to make inglip jokes and all that with too, but i suppose the noobs could read it and return for more...

Kisler had the best idea so far, take away thread making abilities from accounts with a certain amount of previous posts. That way Spam Bots can't just get on and make thread, they won't have access until they post something in someone else's thread, which prob won't be happening soon after. It'll be a good deterrant for awhile but it's the best one i've heard so far, recaptchas dont do much

I like Reed's idea of not being able to make threads unless you have x amount of posts. Even something like 10 would be good. Also, cheezpuffs, you were one of those noobs one time, I doubt you'd have put the effort into signing up if you had to do all of that. xD

sorry about being extreme there, guys, I wasn't in a good mood, and the amount of spams here just make me rage.

so shall I just go to do what I usually do? report them?

If it gets on your nerves that much, just report it. But the admins are taking care of it as and when they can, it'll get done, don't worry. :)
