    Star Wars: The Old Republic

I can't believe you gigantic nerds don't have a SWTOR thread. Who's got this game preordered? Any guild plans?

I'm not a very big mmo fan and I really don't like paying for games especially on a monthly basis, Skyrim being the big exception there =D. I got into the beta and I played it for a weekend. Honestly It just seemed like another WoW clone. Not to be offensive or anything but it didn't really add anything special to the mmo genre. Sure there is voice acting (Which is probably the reason its a whopping 20 GB) and you can make decisions but Bioware's rpgs do it so much better that it just pales in comparison. I really think that this should have been KOTOR3 and i didn't even finish the first two (Those were a bit to heavy duty rpgish for me). Those trailers gave me such high hopes until I realized it was an mmo =(

I'm a huge Bioware fan, but they don't do well with sequels. KOTOR 2, Dragon Age 2, etc. I'm glad they're doing something somewhat original instead of KOTOR 3.

On the topic of Skyrim, that game would be perfection if they had some form of multiplayer. Any form. Even LAN.

Gotta agree with RubberChickin. I was amazed by Knights Of The Old Republic and Knights Of The Old Republic 2. I originally thought this was a prequel of some sorts. I was disappointed to see it was just an MMO. A lot of things have been done with MMO's and this doesn't seem like anything overly original, you're probably better with console RPG's for a lower price in the long run as well as some originality in certain games.
I haz le #1 post count, bow to your true overlord. >:3
