There are few things that drive and pushes people more than competition, and the endless strive to be better than others, we don't exactly make that easy around here, the only competitive part of TS is shown after you beat a song, and that is nothing more than a small high score list, the other thing is a rank, that is shown on your profile, but it's not easy to figure out what that even means in the big picture. Unless you know that you can type rank me, stat me, score me, etc in the chat to get stats, there are practically no ways to know how well you are doing compare to others (no simple ways at least). Yes, we do have a high score list, but even that is kinda strange, the first thing that comes up is "Top Players by Overall Avg Accuracy" and in the sidebar on the left, you are faced with the headline "ThirdStyle Game Stats"... Okay? My stats or the site stats or what?
The other problem that we have is the first impression that we might give new users, our front page is not the best, and could make good use of a redesign, the first impression is really all that makes many users turn or stay.

So with all that in mind, make a better front page, a beginners guide that shows people around the site (and teaches them how to play the game in general), make room for easy and creative competition, make users at the same skill lvl able to find, and face each other, and push each other further in the game, make a better rank system, give people a reason to play the game, other than just fun (like more trade items, unlockable name colors, profile design options, medals even), these are all suggestions to somewhat easy things that could improve the site a lot. ]]> ThirdStyle General trunks55 http://thirdstyle.com/forum/showthread.php/10874-suggestion-to-grow-and-improve-the-community
