Okay so here's what's going down.
I need a new computer, my spending cap is $900, and it has to be from -best buy-.
I know, i know, i'd get a better deal making a custom one blah blah blah but no.
It'd be awesome for someone to surf around bestbuy.com for one OR suggest one they're had experience with. I don't know much about graphics cards that would run good games and things like that, so i'm looking for some expertise.

It needs to:
- Be able to play games smoothly at -least- on medium-low graphics settings. Games in question are Fallout: New Vegas, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Bioshock 1/2, WoW(that can run on any computer though, so bleh) and basically any newish game. I'm not talking like Crysis on the highest settings, just something that makes sure the games are playable and fun =]
- Be able to run FL studio/reason very well without any audio lag/mess-ups that can happen in FL without a good enough processor.

Laptop, desktop, doesn't matter.

Any pointers or help would be awesome, thanks in advance <3

also, <3
I love you

ALSO: I live in Canada, so i'm not sure if best buy differs from Canada to US

I just got an Asus G60Vx laptop from Best Buy a few weeks ago.

http://rog.asus.com/Product.aspx?PId=30 (hopefully that works)

It's a gaming laptop and will be good enough for medium-low settings. I've played Amnesia on it with no problems. I usually only play Counter Strike on it though. No lag no problems. Also has a decent video card in it for it being a laptop. The sound is pretty good and that could be because my headset is really high quality or because the soundcard (if it has one) is alright. Either way, its good enough for me to hear everything I need to hear while gaming.

When I bought it, it was on sale for 675.00 but I think normal price is 730.00. You'll have to check and see if they have it in stock at your best buy. A lot of the Asus gaming computers are going to be good for what you are looking for and are generally cheap.

I'll look into that.
I have basically a step down from that right now as a laptop, and it -barely- runs amnesia on the lowest settings. I've heard so much good and bad about asus, i really have no idea. I'll definitely check that out though.
also does it have a decent processor?
For FL and stuff like that.

hmm, thats weird.

mine runs everything fine and the processor is an intel core2 quad. i feel like since I can run my online game for hours on end with no lag / extreme heat its decent. However if you were worried, you could always upgrade to the Asus g70 series. Although its a bit more pricey, im not sure if its sold at bust buy, and is an extreme beast. Basically like putting a desktop into a laptop. Never tried it, but if its a step up from this one, I have to assume its pretty great.
