people who've fooled around with ffr will recall that this is one of the ways that it'll accept input

I'm going to assume that this wont happen because we are hoping to come out with a smartphone app, which will eliminate the need for this.

I actually have plans for us to create a mouse-based game... so I'd kinda not like the receptors to be clickable.
Then again, the mouse-based game won't involve using clicks either... but still.
