but Unix is from 1969 were linux is pretty much based on

its proably not that the laptop is a piece of shit like I have an laptop from 1999 which is an old toshiba satellite pro 4600
you know pentium 3, only an hdd of 10 gig, yeah OLD SCHOOL!!, but I run Kubuntu 7.10 and it runs just fine, like I have seen people before going THIS PIECE OF SHIT PC or laptop while its just the ****ing OS *cough*99% of the time windows*cough* that is ****ing up

Actually there are numerous things wrong with my laptop. Yes Vista is one problem and I know its not the laptop itself usually. Its actually the fact that my laptop is so bogged down with errors that are unfixable, and half the keys donIt work most of the time unless i slam down on them when I type. then there's the fact that I 'Spilled numerous drinks into it frying who knows what. I can actually say it's a POS because with everything going on with it, it in fact actually is. If it was still a clean laptop and all these things never happened to it, then ya it would probably just be a piece of Vistcrap
