Where the hell have we been you ask? Let me do a little explaining.

We took the site down for a number of reasons, some I wont go into because they don’t matter anymore. But the large reason is pretty simple. We’ve been working like mad-men on all the backend stuff to get the site ready for a game launch.

Now that all the dirty stuff is done (the stuff that would cause the site to break, data to be lost, etc.) we’re ready for you to use the site again. The game is getting closer. No ETA yet. We don’t want to tell you something like June 18th and not release. We wont do that to you guys.

From this point on, everything we do will be 100% transparent.

So what does this mean? We’re tell you everything, honestly. If we tell you a date, and we fail to meet it, we’ll have a damn good reason. Not “we were indisposed”.

And don’t forget, you must include the permission to use the song. If we don’t have permissions on file, or don’t get any, we can’t accept the file.

Just like to let everyone know that the new forum should show up for everyone now. It’s still in beta, so expect things to be changing rapidly.

Why are we releasing it now? The new layout is far enough along in development that 98% of users will not experience anything weird. If you do notice something, post it to the beta forum.

We will be rolling out the new forum layout for all users starting saturday. This will be a slow rollout to ensure site performance is not affected. The old layout will remain available as an option a few weeks, then it will be phased out.

If you want to get a head start, you can switch to the new layout now in your profile settings.

There will be issues. Please post what you find to the suggestions forum along with anything else you’d like to say about the new forum layout.

You can always visit that page again to reset if it completely breaks on you, or you hate it.

Sadly, I wont be releasing the new forums this weekend. It didn’t dawn on me that this was Easter weekend. Next week for sure if all goes as planned. And maybe a special gift for being patient
